INFERTILITY THE INACCURACY OF REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

Life in Earth is the creation of god; human is the best invention of his. But behind this creativity the main vector is science. Science is that factor which informed man how to invent the new life as well as to reproduce the new life.

Reproductive system:

Reproductive system among the mankind is the main fixation that is responsible to create the new progeny to next generation. Actually the organs which help to reproduce are united to make a system and this system is called the reproduction system or reductive system.
As man is a single gendered leaving specimen thus it possess the Male Reproductive system which includes one pair Testis, Epididymis, Vas deferens, Seminal vesicle and a penis in the male body and the Female Reproductive System which includes the Internal genital organ with one pair of Ovary, one Uterus, two Fallopian tubes and Vagina as well as the External genital organ with Labia majora & minora, Clitoris and Hymen in the female body.

Function of Reproductive System:

The production of egg in the ovary of female reproductive organ and the production of sperm in the testis of male reproductive system is the main function of Reproductive System.
Apart from this the fertilization of egg and sperm are to be done with the help with this system of man’s body.

 

Fertilization:

To get informed about the Fertilization we need to know the Reproductive Physiology and to get the knowledge about this we have to know the reproductive system which I have already discussed on above a little bit.
Before getting in the details of the topic of Fertilization we must have to know the definitions of some important terms related with this topic like

Spermatogenesis:

In which process the sperms are generated from the sperm-mother cell this is called the Spermatogenesis. This occurs in two phases a) Spermatocytogenesis and b) Spermeogenesis.

Spermiation:

In which process the developed and nourished sperm secreted from the cells of Sertoli that called the Spermiation.

Oogenesis:

At the ovary the process of production of egg from egg-mother cell is called Oogenesis which is done by the following steps

Oogonium (2n) > Primary oocyte (2n) > Secondary oocyte (n) > Ootid (n) > egg (n)

What is Fertilization?

Definition:  The mating between male gamete and the female gamete is called fertilization.

Time & Place of Fertilization:  In human’s body this fertilization process will be done at the upper portion of Fallopian tubes at the ampula. At the time of conjugation which sperms are go in through the uterus the lifespan of those sperm is 48 hours and on the other hand the eggs in the fallopian tubes can live up to 6 to 7 hours; thus within this period if eggs are in the fallopian tubes then it can be fertilized with the sperm. But on the time of sexual intercourse if there in each mili liter of semen the no of sperm is lower than the 5 million then the possibilities of fertilization is lesser. The third weeks of the menstruation cycle is the most favorable time to conceive.

Process of Fertilization: : This process will be done by the following steps

AGGLUTINATION (attachment of sperm on the wall of egg after the reaction of fertilizing & anti-fertilizin)

PENETRATION (formation of corona radiate and construction of zygote of 2n No)

FUSION OF PRONUCLEI (formation of male & female pronucleus; spindle and the cleavage of zygote is started)

Formation of Embryo: After segmentation or cleavage of zygote the dividing process of zygote are to be done and formation of “morula” does occur. Morula then come to the uterus and implanted at the endrometrium layer and then going through the processes of division and formed in to the “blastula” which after the process of invagination formed in to “gastrula” from which the embryo does occur. Then the embryo grows day by day to a mature baby. In this time the embryo present in the uterus floated in the amniotic fluid and covered with the foetal membrane.

Embryo develops in the uterus with taking the nourishment from the wall of uterus with the help of the placenta. With the development in the uterus the embryo does attach by the umbilical chord with the placenta. When the embryo developed completely in to a baby then the baby and placenta both are secreted to the exterior of the female body, this process is called parturition. To develop in a complete baby to birth its take 280 days time to born from the embryo; this time is called Pregnancy.

Infertility:

The obstruction in the fertilization process brings the infertility. It can be occurring in the male and the female both for various reasons. In the case of infertility a female body does not conceive a fetal or embryo for the reason of infertilization of the male gamete and the female gamete. For which the male and the female are both equally responsible. So this process can be classified in to two divisions- 1) Male Infertility &2) Female Infertility.
